Mirpur has a special place in sub-continent’s history. The famous battle between Alexandar and Porus was fought here in 323 BC. A large number of Hindus lived in Mirpur once . Today Mirpur doesnt have any hindus living in there. Please find below the state of Hindu temples in Mirpur …Kashmir.

Introduction - Mirpur (Urdu: میر پور) is the largest city in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and the capital ofMirpur District. Mirpur is located at the extreme south of Azad Kashmir at an elevation of 459 metres (1509ft). It is 125 kilometres (68 miles) south east of Islamabad via the Grand Trunk Road and 295 kilometres (183 miles) south of Muzaffarabad, the capital of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
Shame on rulers of Pakistan and muslim fundamentalists for distroying a ancient Hindu culture and sculptures which are their ruit itself....one who forgets thier ruit will be just like beautiful building without strong foundation....time alone teach lessons.....
ReplyDeleteno human habitation sideby but only jungle and vegetation which shows plight of hindu tamples. Shame on Pakistani authorities who have forgotten"mahzab nahi sikhata aapas mein bair rakhna". They must respect the sentiments of Hindus and maintain their tempples.
