Sindh (Pakistan) : The Tharis Hindus are honest, hard-working people and are very generous in hospitality. The gatherings between castes is largely restricted to men. The locale for such interactions being the "autak". Each hamlet will have at least one "autak" situated a discrete distance beyond the thorn hedge of the family quarters. Failing an "autak" the nearest shady tree is designated for meetings with outsiders.
Tharparkar (Urdu: تھرپارکر) is a town located in the Tharparkar District , which is one of 22 districts located in the Sindh province in Pakistan. It is the only fertile desert in the world. It is in the fertile Rann of Kutch, as well as in Nara desert.
Where as the hindu make 70% of rural population. about 80% of hindus in tharparkar belongs to scheduled caste.the main community of this districts are meghwar,kohli,nohri,Junejo
,raheman,sameja,samoo,thakar,bhil,oodh,maharaj,lohana. it is the home of ex-chief minister of sindh Dr.Arbab ghulam raheem.

Nagarparkar
Nagarparkar is a tehsil of district Tharparkar that borders Indian Rajsthan and Gujarat from three sides. The area is a historical embodiment of Jainism and Hindu Mythologies of thousands years and have beyond twenty archeological sites of Jain temples and pilgrimages as well as some thousands years old Hindu temples and pilgrimages.
The beauty of Nangarparkar is due to its pink granite Karronjhar hills and rich flora and fauna. Various environmentalists have been demanding the national park status for the Nangarparkar.
