INDIA : Sikhs in Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday sought Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's intervention in tracing a member of their community who went missing during a visit to Pakistan.

Amar Singh, a retired armyman, who went to gurdwara Nankana Sahib in Pakistan to pay obeisance, went missing on April 20.

"We urge the Prime Minister to take up the matter with the Pakistani government in locating the missing devotee," Nirbho Nirvair Organisation chief Harjeet Singh told reporters in Jammu.

He said Amar Singh, a resident of R S Pura sector, did not return home while other devotees who went to Nankana Sahib in-group had come back.

Harjeet alleged Pakistan's ISI had kidnapped him as he was an ex-serviceman.
