MIRPURKHAS: Chairman of the Sindh Taraqi Passand Party, Dr Qadir Magsi, has demanded national status languages to Sindhi, Balochi and Pashto languages and arrest of terrorists involved in Ashura, May 12, April 11 and Nishtar Park incidents.

At a press conference here on Friday, he said that Pakistani media, anchor persons and Sindh government were afraid of a particular linguistic group and they were talking on TV channels as if they were being advised by that group.

Dr Magsi termed present parliament a rubber stamp and added that remnants of Pervez Musharraf were enjoying power while innocent Pakhtoon, Balochs and Sindhis were being killed.

He alleged that federal minister for interior Rehman Malik could not end the terrorism as he himself was a supporter of terrorists. Holding the government responsible for the current crises of electricity, sugar, flour and price hike in the country, he predicted a clean sweep for Sindh Taraqi Pasand Party in the next general elections in Sindh.

He said that PPP came into power due to the sacrifice of late Benazir Bhutto. He appealed to people not to vote for feudals and terrorists and support Sindh Taraqi Passand Party in the next elections and make a new Sindh and Pakistan.
